China Reports 13 New COVID-19 Cases... 11 Occurred in Beijing (Update)

On the 26th, the National Health Commission of China announced that as of midnight, there were 13 new COVID-19 cases nationwide. Among them, 2 cases were imported infections from overseas. All 11 new confirmed cases within mainland China were reported in Beijing.

In Beijing, on the 25th alone, 11 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 3 suspected cases, and 1 asymptomatic infection were added. Since the first cluster infection was confirmed on the 11th at the Xinfadi wholesale agricultural market, a total of 280 confirmed cases have been recorded in Beijing. Additionally, 22 asymptomatic infections, which authorities do not include in the count of new confirmed cases, have been recorded.
