Thinkware held a donation ceremony on the afternoon of the 25th at its headquarters located in Pangyo, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do. Attendees included Kim Cheoljong, Standing Advisor of the Korea Firefighters Association, Jang Youngmin, Head of New Business Division at Thinkware, Ahn Jaeseok, Head of Brand Marketing Department, and other related personnel.
The interior of fire trucks is vulnerable to contamination from fine dust and smoke generated at fire scenes, and due to the lack of a proper garage exhaust system, firefighters are easily exposed to harmful substances such as exhaust gases. To improve the internal environment of fire trucks, Thinkware plans to support the improvement of firefighters' working conditions by donating 50 units of the vehicle-specific air purifier ‘Blue Vent’.
The donated products will be delivered to and used by fire stations and 119 safety centers under the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters.
Standing Advisor Kim said, “The interior of fire trucks is frequently exposed to contaminants due to emergency dispatches, so improving the working environment of firefighters is an essential matter. We deeply appreciate Thinkware for their help.”
Division Head Jang said, “We have launched a support project to improve the working environment of firefighters who work harder than anyone else at fire and accident scenes. Although it is a small effort, we hope it will be of some help, and we will continue to expand support projects for improving firefighters' environments in the future.”
