Jeonju Museum of Art Selected for the 'Museum Strolling with KB' Project
Recruiting Participants for KB Museum Strolling Until This December
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Jeonju Reporter Lee Geon-ju] Jeonju Museum of Art in Jeonbuk announced on the 25th that it has been selected for the third time for the ‘2020 Museum Strolling with Youth Mentors KB’ project, following 2016.
Jeonju Museum of Art is the leading private art museum in Jeonbuk, located within 5 to 10 minutes of Jeolla Gamyeong, Pungnammun Gate, Jeonju Hanok Village, and Nambu Market, and is equipped with various facilities such as education rooms and experience rooms.
The ‘Museum Strolling with Youth Mentors KB’ project is organized by the Korean Museum Association and KB Kookmin Bank, and has been ongoing for 12 years this year. It supports specialized exhibition viewing and experiential activities in museums and art galleries nationwide.
Jeonju Museum of Art is recruiting participants for the ‘2020 KB Museum Strolling’ until December.
The experience prepared by the museum, such as ‘Fans that Shine at Night ? Decorating Fans Using Blacklight and Traditional Patterns,’ involves coloring traditional patterns on fans, which are useful in daily life, using stencil techniques. Through this experience, participants can understand the traditional patterns.
Applications are accepted on the Museum Strolling website for groups of five or more from elementary, middle, and high schools.
Due to COVID-19, the museum plans to limit the number of participants to a maximum of 20, and after final approval notification from the museum, participants can visit on their desired date.
