Interpark "Camping Equipment Sales Double... Untact Camping Craze"
'Life Camping' Camping Gear Special Exhibition in Progress
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Interpark announced on the 25th that it will hold the 'Life Camping' special exhibition until the end of July in response to the rapidly spreading camping craze.
This Life Camping camping goods special exhibition was prepared to offer popular products at more affordable prices as camping has established itself as a popular leisure culture due to social distancing caused by the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), leading to increased demand.
Analysis of Interpark's camping goods sales over the past three months showed a noticeable increase in actual demand, with a 106% rise compared to the same period last year. By category, demand increased in the order of ▲mats and beds (205%) ▲camping chairs and tables (144%) ▲tents and sunshades (104%).
Accordingly, Interpark plans to provide a 13% discount coupon as well as credit card billing discounts of up to 10% to allow consumers to purchase popular camping goods at lower prices. Additionally, detailed categories are organized by brand and item, and the 'Top 8 Life Camping Goods of the Week' are selected weekly to enhance shopping convenience.
