CIDESCO School is an international institution for acquiring qualifications and professional education in the 'beauty' field, headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland.
Despite difficulties in recruiting students due to COVID-19, the Lifelong Education Center at Gyeongnam Information University held the '2020 CIDESCO International Beauty Qualification Course Opening Ceremony' on the 23rd at the Twin Hall within the university.
This course is the only CIDESCO School in Busan and is popular every year.
The university's Lifelong Education Center's 'International Skin Care and Aromatherapy Qualification Course' is an educational program jointly offered by the university's beauty department majors in skin care, makeup, and nails.
The International Beauty Therapy course, an international skin care course, is in its 10th term, and the International Aromatherapy course is in its 2nd term, with a total of 38 participants starting simultaneously.
After completing the course, students are scheduled to take the qualification exam in August. To ensure the safety of students and international supervisors due to COVID-19, the qualification exam will be conducted online in consultation with the CIDESCO headquarters in Switzerland, marking the first challenge of an 'online qualification exam' among domestic CIDESCO Schools.
The CIDESCO qualification exam consists of theoretical and practical tests as well as a project (clinical practice report). The theory exam will be conducted online in the Gyeongnam Information University mobile practice room equipped with 45 latest MacBooks, and the practical exam will be conducted online in a practice room equipped with a video system.
