Jeonju City, Korea's Representative Tourism Hub City, "Jeonju, Isn't It~"
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Gom In-hyung] Cities leading South Korea's tourism industry gathered in Jeonju to share the progress of the Tourism Hub City Development Project and to cooperate with each other.
On the 23rd and 24th, a joint training session for tourism hub cities was held throughout Jeonju City, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with the participation of the Korea Tourism Organization, the Korea Culture and Tourism Institute, and officials from five tourism hub cities.
On the first day, the 23rd, the event was organized to share the progress of the Tourism Hub City Development Project, explain the basic plan, discuss consulting directions, and explore mutual cooperation methods.
At this session, information related to integrated promotional marketing was provided, a special lecture on tourism city design was conducted, and the review directions for each city's basic plan were discussed.
On the 24th, participants toured major tourism hubs representing Jeonju, such as Jeonju Hanok Village, Jeolla Gamyeong, and Palbok Art Factory. Additionally, the city's progress was shared with the tourism hub cities, and feedback from the consulting team was gathered.
