Jeonbuk Office of Education Executes Personnel Changes for 557 Employees Below Grade 3
117 Promotions, 14 New Appointments, and More
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Geon-ju] The Jeonbuk Office of Education announced on the 22nd that it has carried out regular personnel appointments for 557 local government officials at grade 3 and below.
According to the provincial Office of Education, the regular personnel appointments effective from the 1st of next month include 117 promotions, 290 transfers, 70 retirements, and 14 new appointments.
In this personnel reshuffle, Lee Hyun-gyu, Deputy Director General (currently Director of Mahan Education and Culture Center), was transferred to the position of Director of the Administrative Bureau, and Go Gwang-hwi, Deputy Director General (currently Director of the Administrative Bureau), was transferred to the position of Director of Jeonbuk Education and Culture Center. Kim Hyung-dae, current Budget Section Chief, was promoted to Deputy Director General and appointed as Director of Mahan Education and Culture Center.
Additionally, Jang Hyo-ram, Secretary, was transferred to Director of Gimje Education and Culture Center; Cho Chang-geun, Officer, was promoted to Secretary and appointed to Policy Public Relations Officer in charge of Planning and Communication Cooperation; Park Jong-bae, Officer, was promoted to Secretary and appointed as Budget Section Chief; and Go Jong-bok, Officer, was promoted to Secretary and appointed as General Affairs Manager of Jeonbuk Student Training Center.

An official from the Office of Education stated, “For transfers of education administrative officials at grade 6 and below, 172 personnel were assigned primarily to their preferred regions based on the transfer preference system reflecting individual transfer wishes. Newly appointed officials were assigned considering vacancy institutions and residential areas according to the ranking on the list of new appointment candidates.”
