Gwanak-gu Hosts Online Deliberation Forum "The World of Wise Cooperation"
Operation of Online Deliberation Forum Following Indefinite Extension of Metropolitan Area Quarantine Measures... Direct Communication with Residents Using Live Radio Broadcast, Online Gwanakcheong, and M-Voting
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Gwanak-gu (District Mayor Park Jun-hee) will hold an online deliberation forum with cooperative governance committee members called "The Wise World of Cooperative Governance" to listen to residents' opinions.
This forum will be conducted online using live radio broadcasts and the online Gwanak Office platform in response to the government's decision to indefinitely extend the metropolitan area quarantine measures related to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Earlier in March, the district collected residents' opinions through various methods such as a live broadcast "Deliberation Forum for Discovering Cooperative Governance Agendas," the online Gwanak Office, and the Cooperative Governance Tree. Based on these, a total of nine agendas were identified and will be discussed with residents through live broadcasts and comments on the online Gwanak Office (policy opinion collection).
The agendas include ▲ revitalization of small business economy ▲ local resident employment ▲ waste separation and disposal ▲ creation of specialized streets ▲ establishment of cultural spaces ▲ youth collaborative community ▲ promotion of public nursing facilities ▲ public food security ▲ and discovery of tourist attractions, covering various fields closely related to residents' daily lives.
The live deliberation forums will be held five times in total on June 23, June 25, June 30, July 2, and July 3, from 3 PM to 4 PM.
Residents who wish to participate can search for 'GwanakFM' on YouTube, join the broadcast, communicate via comments, or participate in real-time by phone call or text message using the number provided during the broadcast.
Additionally, priority voting on the nine cooperative governance agendas will be conducted for about two weeks from June 23 to July 6 through the Seoul M-Voting website.
Furthermore, the district plans to recruit expanded subcommittee members for each agenda who can participate in the entire policy process, including planning, execution, and evaluation, beyond just providing opinions.
