On the 20th, 'A Story of Gugak with Commentary' Performance in the Outdoor Yard
Presenting Various Genres of Music and Stories Including Creative Gugak, Pansori, and Gugak Songs
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] A stage that unravels gugak through pansori, gugak songs, and soulful narration will be set up in the outdoor yard of Busan Metropolitan Central Library.
On the 20th at 11 a.m., Busan Central Library will hold a cultural and artistic event at the outdoor yard of the Central Library, titled "Gugak Stories with Narration," for 50 local residents and library users.
This performance is prepared to provide a healing time for local residents weary in mind and body due to COVID-19 through our traditional music, gugak.
The gugak group "Tteurak" will appear and present various genres of music including creative gugak, pansori, and gugak songs. Those wishing to attend can apply on-site on the day of the performance.
Starting with this performance, the Central Library plans to hold various cultural and artistic events such as "Children's Musical," "Sand Art Performance," and "Puppet Show" until December.
