Deloitte Anjin Partners with the Sports Industry Management Association to Advance the Sports Industry
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Deloitte Anjin Accounting Firm (hereinafter Deloitte Anjin) announced on the 19th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Sports Industry Management Association to establish an advanced system for the sports industry in Yeouido, Seoul.
The signing ceremony held the previous day was attended by Gi-Kiwan Gil, Head of Financial Advisory at Deloitte Anjin, Park Seongjun, President of the Korea Sports Industry Management Association, and officials from both organizations. The agreement was made with a shared understanding of the need to revitalize and advance the domestic sports industry through industry-academia cooperation to enhance sports business.
Deloitte Anjin and the Korea Sports Industry Management Association plan to co-host academic conferences addressing the present and future of the domestic sports industry, share global sports business cases, and conduct joint research to build a new ecosystem for the sports industry. Based on this, they will continuously create successful models that can be applied in actual sports business fields.
Deloitte Anjin views this mutual cooperation with the Korea Sports Industry Management Association as a focal point for industry and academia to coexist and develop together, generating synergy for the advancement of sports business.
Park Seongjun, President of the Korea Sports Industry Management Association, stated, “Through cooperation with Deloitte Anjin, which possesses a global network with advanced sports industry countries such as the United States and Europe and top experts in the industry, we will be able to draw a blueprint for Korea’s sports industry, which has high growth potential.”
