'A Weekend Full of Joy'... Lotte Mart Offers Up to 50% Discount on Hanwoo Sirloin, Lobster, and Jeonbok
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Lotte Mart will hold the "Salmatnaneun Itteul" event on the 20th and 21st, offering popular fresh foods, processed foods, and daily necessities at discounts of up to 50%.
This event is held biweekly to stimulate consumption, which has been sluggish due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). To allow more customers to shop without burden, high-demand products have been prepared, receiving great responses from customers.
During the "Tongkeunjeol" event held on the 6th and 7th, total sales increased by 8.7% compared to the same period last year, with particularly high demand for Korean beef and seafood, resulting in sales growth of 40.8% and 23.3%, respectively.
On the 20th, for one day only, 1st-grade Korean beef sirloin will be sold at 5,500 KRW per 1 kg per person. Cherries and blueberries will be discounted by 6,000 KRW and 5,000 KRW respectively for L.POINT members, selling at 3,980 KRW each.
For two days on the 20th and 21st, a maximum 50% discount event for L.POINT members is also prepared. Representative products such as "U.S. frozen LA-style ribs" and "Wando live abalone" will be sold at 40% off each. "Korean beef bone soup meat" will be offered at a 50% discount for L.POINT members.
Various processed foods are also prepared, with about 70 types of "chocolate" sold at 50% off the regular price, and about 200 popular red wines sold at up to 40% off the regular price.
There will also be a 1+1 event on popular fresh foods, processed foods, and daily necessities, allowing customers to purchase bananas, cherry tomatoes, green onions, and more at affordable prices. Additionally, until the 24th, a 20% discount is offered on Canadian lobster purchases made with designated cards (Lotte, Shinhan, KB, Kookmin, NH Nonghyup).
