The district will receive 800 million KRW in creation support funds to remodel and complete the remodeling of idle spaces (518㎡) on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Miro Center by the end of this year, and from next year until 2023, it plans to operate various programs for regional tourism promotion with an annual support of 100 million KRW for three years.
The Dong-gu Base Art Travel Center is planned to be established as a multipurpose space including ▲tourism startup incubating space ▲community space and promotional hall ▲art tourism academy classrooms and various art performance venues.
In the future, it will lead regional tourism growth as a regional tourism promotion organization (DMO) for ▲supporting art tourism venture companies ▲art tourism venture academy education ▲domestic and international promotion and market development support for art tourism companies ▲and regional-led tourism expansion.
The district plans to contribute to revitalizing regional tourism and creating local jobs by linking the unique ideas and concepts of art tourism venture companies to actual startups and establishing a collaborative system connecting local governments, regional companies, industry-academic cooperation centers, and universities.
