Jangsu-gun, COVID-19 Response Inspection for Door-to-Door Sales Companies

The urgent inspection targets are four door-to-door sales companies registered in Jangsu-gun according to door-to-door sales-related regulations. The inspection will focus on compliance with workplace quarantine guidelines and COVID-19 infection prevention rules, and provide guidance on detailed social distancing measures (door-to-door sales sector).
In particular, it recommends refraining from mass gatherings for promotions and operating health product sales promotion centers, which have a high risk of infection.
If illegal promotional or sales activities are detected, administrative measures will be taken according to relevant regulations, and unregistered door-to-door sales companies will be referred to the police for investigation.

A county official said, “Door-to-door sales mainly operate through face-to-face contact in enclosed spaces, so there is a high risk of infection,” adding, “Especially elderly people vulnerable to infection are advised to avoid visiting enclosed door-to-door sales establishments or health product sales promotion centers.”
