[Special Stock] Kukil Paper Establishes Continuous Production System for Flexible Electrodes Using Graphene
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] The stock price of Kukil Paper is on the rise. The news that its subsidiary Kukil Graphene has established a 12-inch batch-type graphene manufacturing facility appears to have influenced the stock price.
As of 11:05 AM on the 16th, Kukil Paper is trading at 6,200 KRW, up 14.39% from the previous day.
The 12-inch batch-type manufacturing facility is equipment capable of depositing graphene thin films using multiple chambers. It is designed to produce rigid planar graphene. It can be manufactured in various sizes up to 12 inches. The use of multiple chambers is known to be more efficient than existing equipment.
The large-area roll-to-roll graphene mass production equipment, which was delivered to Kukil Graphene's Seongnam PM Center last April, is currently undergoing program modifications and process-specific trial operations during test runs.
A company official explained, “By acquiring the 12-inch batch-type graphene manufacturing facility, we have established a production system capable of manufacturing rigid planar graphene as well as continuous manufacturing equipment (Roll to Roll) for flexible electrodes.”
