Now Use Exclusive Credit Cards at Starbucks
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] Starbucks Coffee Korea announced on the 16th that it has signed a PLCC (Private Label Credit Card) partnership agreement with Hyundai Card to launch a Starbucks-exclusive credit card.
Through this agreement, Starbucks will launch a corporate-exclusive credit card based on the star rewards of Starbucks My Starbucks Rewards members in the second half of this year. My Starbucks Rewards is a customer loyalty program offering various benefits, currently boasting over 6 million members.
With the launch of the exclusive credit card, Starbucks plans to provide enhanced benefits and services to My Starbucks Rewards members, collaborate with Hyundai Card on card operations and joint marketing, and develop customer-tailored services based on data science.
Jang Seok-hyun, head of Starbucks Data Marketing Team, stated, “Starbucks chose Hyundai Card as the partner for its first proprietary brand card because of Hyundai Card’s accumulated brand power and strong capabilities in the PLCC business.”
