57-Year-Old Woman Living in Geumcheon-gu Doksan 3-dong Confirmed with COVID-19
Employees working at a restaurant in Gwanak-gu visited by confirmed Richway-related cases
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yuseonghun) announced on the 15th that the 29th confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) has occurred.
The 29th confirmed case is a 57-year-old woman, Ms. A, who is known to live with two family members in Doksan 3-dong.
Ms. A is an employee at a restaurant visited by multiple confirmed cases related to Richway, a health product sales company in Gwanak-gu. She began showing symptoms on the 10th, tested negative in the first test conducted the same day, was retested on the 13th, and received a final positive result in the third test on the 14th.
The district transferred Ms. A to a nationally designated hospital on the same day, plans to conduct intensive disinfection around her residence, and will implement self-quarantine measures and testing for her cohabiting family members.
