[Breaking] Japan Reports 75 New COVID-19 Cases in a Day... Highest in a Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Seung-gon] In Japan, 75 new cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) were reported in a single day on the 14th.
The local public broadcaster NHK reported that this daily increase in confirmed cases is the largest in a month, following 100 cases recorded on May 14.
Accordingly, Japan's cumulative number of COVID-19 cases has risen to 18,241, including 712 passengers from the cruise ship 'Diamond Princess.'

Meanwhile, in Tokyo, 47 new cases were added in one day, marking the highest daily increase since 57 cases on June 5 last month. Among the new cases in Tokyo, 18 were employees in their 20s and 30s working at a host club located in Shinjuku ward, who were tested as a group.
