View original image[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] On Monday the 15th, daytime temperatures will exceed 30 degrees Celsius, with ultraviolet (UV) index levels remaining high in most areas.
In the Gangwon East Coast, where a heatwave advisory has been issued, and some inland areas of North Gyeongsang Province, the high humidity will cause the perceived temperature to exceed 33 degrees Celsius, resulting in hot weather.
Due to strong sunlight, the UV index will be at a 'very high' level in most regions. Some areas, mainly along the Ulsan and Jeonnam coasts, will experience 'dangerous' levels.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the morning low temperatures on the 15th are expected to range from 15 to 24 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs will range from 24 to 34 degrees Celsius.
Morning low temperatures by region are forecasted as follows: △ Seoul 18°C △ Incheon 18°C △ Chuncheon 17°C △ Gangneung 24°C △ Daejeon 18°C △ Daegu 19°C △ Busan 20°C △ Jeonju 18°C △ Gwangju 19°C △ Jeju 21°C.
Daytime high temperatures are expected to be: △ Seoul 28°C △ Incheon 24°C △ Chuncheon 32°C △ Gangneung 34°C △ Daejeon 28°C △ Daegu 32°C △ Busan 27°C △ Jeonju 29°C △ Gwangju 29°C △ Jeju 26°C.
