Teachers' Mutual Aid Association Volunteer Activity: Making Bibs for Adopted Children
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] The-K Korean Teachers' Credit Union announced on the 12th that it delivered bibs and sponsorship funds made through in-house employee volunteer activities to the Dongbang Social Welfare Center.
This volunteer activity was conducted in a non-face-to-face format, where production kits were distributed and then individually made and submitted due to the impact of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The Credit Union delivered 283 bibs made by employees over a week and sponsorship funds of about 3 million won. The delivered bibs will be used for children under the protection of the Dongbang Social Welfare Center and foster families waiting for adoption.
