Through this collaboration, the two companies plan to introduce a massage chair that systematically manages users' health by applying LifeSemantics' digital healthcare platform 'LifeRecord' to customer devices installed in Bodyfriend massage chairs.
LifeRecord is a cloud platform that securely stores and processes personal health data. It supports the collection and analysis of activity records and health measurement data gathered from massage chairs or wearable devices, medication and vaccination records, and medical records from various hospitals.
Bodyfriend plans to combine biometric signal measurement systems such as blood pressure, electrocardiogram, body temperature, and body composition applied to massage chairs with LifeRecord's health data collection and analysis system to provide users with personalized massage courses, nutrition, and exercise recommendations. The two companies will form a task force (TF) composed of experts in each field to begin technology development and commercialize products applying the service.
