[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Amid the recent surge of COVID-19 infections in the Geumcheon-gu area, Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) held an "Emergency Countermeasure Meeting to Prevent the Resurgence of COVID-19" at 4 p.m. on the 11th.
At the emergency meeting, Mayor Yu Seong-hoon, Vice Mayor Kim Young-sung, heads of departments, related department chiefs, and heads of each neighborhood attended to review quarantine measures for facilities under their jurisdiction.
Additionally, concerns about cluster infections in each neighborhood, residents' difficulties, and departmental support measures were discussed.

Mayor Yu Seong-hoon stated, "The key to preventing the spread of COVID-19 is defined by four main factors: publicity and education, continuous inspection, and community cooperation," adding, "We must support quarantine managers at vulnerable facilities such as religious institutions, parks, dining establishments, and sports facilities, continuously request cooperation from facility managers, and prepare support measures to foster a social atmosphere."
