Jeonbuk Office of Education Announces Recruitment for 1st World Jamboree Student Ambassadors
63 Scouts Scheduled for Grades 5 to 12
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Geon-ju] Jeonbuk Office of Education announced on the 11th that it is recruiting the 1st Jamboree National Representatives who will serve as ambassadors for the 2023 Saemangeum World Scout Jamboree.
A total of 63 people will be recruited, and any scout members in grades 5 through 12 who are active in school troops or regional troops can apply.
Scouts wishing to participate should complete the application form and submit it via email to the education office contact by the 19th.
The education office plans to prioritize selecting scouts who can continuously serve as ambassadors and have the intention to participate in the event.
If there are many applicants, the final selection will be made by the Jamboree National Representative Operations Team, balancing by region and school level.
The selection results will be announced via official document on the 29th, and the 1st national representatives will hold the Jamboree National Representative inauguration ceremony on the 8th of next month before starting their activities in earnest.

An official from the education office said, “Jamboree National Representatives can increase interest in the Jamboree and will have opportunities to participate in international exchange activities related to the Jamboree as well as experience programs centered on scout activities.”
