The Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors' Office announced on the 9th that Ahn was arrested and indicted on charges of sexual assault.
Ahn is accused of visiting a friend's house in early April, drinking alcohol, and sexually assaulting the friend's younger sister while she was sleeping.
During the police investigation, he denied the charges, but was caught after his DNA was detected in evidence submitted by the victim.
Ahn debuted as a singer in 2010. He gained public recognition by appearing on various entertainment programs such as Mnet's 'Show Me the Money 4,' 'I Can See Your Voice,' and 'Mr. Trot.' In 2018, he established SD Entertainment and launched the girl group 'Saturday.'
