Seodaemun-gu Residents' Human Rights School 'Dreaming of Human Rights' in Progress
Covering Topics Like Meeting Human Rights Unfamiliar in 3 Sessions, Anti-Discrimination, and Human Rights Magnifier
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Moon Seok-jin) will hold the 2020 Resident Human Rights School "Dreaming of Human Rights" to enhance residents' understanding of the rights of socially vulnerable groups.
The sessions will be held on Wednesdays, July 1, 8, and 15, from 7 PM to 9 PM in the large conference room on the 3rd floor of Seodaemun-gu Office.
Permanent activists from the Human Rights Education Center "Deul" will give lectures under the titles ▲ Human Rights Sensitivity - Encountering Human Rights Anew (7/1) ▲ Anti-Discrimination - Do You Support Discrimination? (7/8) ▲ Human Rights Magnifier - Rehearsal for Life (7/15).
This is a free course open to Seodaemun-gu residents and workers within Seodaemun-gu who are interested in human rights. A certificate of completion will be awarded to those who attend all three sessions.
Due to social distancing measures in response to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the number of participants is limited to 30 on a first-come, first-served basis, fewer than in previous years. Those interested can apply by referring to the announcements on the Seodaemun-gu website.
