The donation ceremony was held the day before at the headquarters of the Daegu Industrial Complex Corporation. Attendees included Kim Jeonghwan, Chairman of the Industrial Complex Corporation, Lee Younggeon, Chairman of the Industrial Complex Corporation Labor Union, and Kim Suhak, Chairman of the Daegu Community Chest of Korea.
Starting last month, Chairman Kim Jeonghwan and other executives of the Industrial Complex Corporation have voluntarily returned 10% of their salaries as a measure to share social suffering. The labor union also participated by donating part of its operating funds, and this donation was made from the executives' salary returns and the union's resources.
The donation will be designated and donated as Onnuri gift certificates to the Senior Welfare Center Association to revitalize local consumption. It is scheduled to support low-income elderly households in 19 senior welfare centers in the Daegu area with daily necessities for eight months.

Chairman Kim used Onnuri gift certificates to purchase fruits and grains and listened to the market merchants' perceptions of the economy and their difficulties.
This shopping event was also participated in by 11 regional headquarters of the Industrial Complex Corporation nationwide. They purchased goods worth a total of 20 million won from small business owners, and the goods were delivered to vulnerable groups near industrial complexes across the country.
