Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hosts Art Exhibition for Medical Staff Battling COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has decided to exhibit artworks in public relief hospitals to honor medical personnel dedicated to overcoming the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
On the 10th, the Ministry announced that, together with the Arts Management Support Center, it will hold a pilot program to invite private art organizations to lend or exhibit artworks by July 1st.
Participating private organizations must be registered with the 'Art Sharing Service' and complete negotiations for lending or exhibition with public relief hospitals having 500 or more beds. Selected organizations can receive up to 5 million KRW per individual lending or exhibition. The lending and exhibitions will be conducted until the end of this year.
