[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Actor Kwak Do-won has been embroiled in allegations of assaulting a film staff member, but his agency clarified "There was only a verbal dispute, no assault occurred."
On the 9th, Kwak Do-won's agency Mada Entertainment stated to a media outlet, "During a gathering after the filming of the movie 'Firefighter' (directed by Kwak Kyung-taek), Kwak Do-won was discussing the film with a staff member when a difference of opinion led to raised voices." They added, "There was a dispute, but the assault is completely untrue."
Earlier that day, a media outlet reported that Kwak Do-won assaulted a film official during the 'Firefighter' wrap-up party. According to the report, the gathering took place at a restaurant located in Ulsan, the filming location of 'Firefighter,' and was attended by most of the cast and staff.
