Yuyu Healthcare Holds Completion Ceremony for Factory with Annual Production of 50 Billion Won
[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] Yuyu Healthcare, a subsidiary of Yuyu Pharmaceutical, announced on the 9th that it held a completion ceremony for a factory with an annual production capacity of 50 billion KRW on the 8th.
The new factory was built in the Hoengseong Ucheon General Industrial Complex, located in Sanghagiri, Ucheon-myeon, Hoengseong-gun, Gangwon-do, and about 120 local workers are expected to be employed. Various health functional food production facilities such as tablet presses, hard capsule fillers, fluidized bed assembly dryers, and coaters were installed, and packaging diversity will be promoted by introducing stick packers, PTP packers, and multipack packers.
With the completion of the new factory, Yuyu Healthcare's production capacity is expected to increase fivefold compared to before. Accordingly, it will be possible to produce health functional foods worth 50 billion KRW annually, and the site has been secured to allow factory expansion up to a sales scale of 100 billion KRW in the future.
