Airbus Appoints Anand Stanley as Head of Asia-Pacific Region
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Airbus announced on the 8th that it appointed Anand Stanley, former Airbus India President, as the Head of Asia-Pacific Region on the 1st.
Mr. Anand joined Airbus in 2018 as President and Manager of Airbus India. Before working at Airbus, he held managerial positions in various fields including civil aerospace, defense industry, strategic management, and mergers & acquisitions (M&A) at Pratt & Whitney, Lockheed Martin, and Sikorsky.

Mr. Anand is expected to lead Airbus's Asia-Pacific business strategy from Singapore and oversee the management of branches across the Asia-Pacific region. Christian Scherer, Airbus Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), stated, "Anand's valuable experience has greatly contributed to Airbus's growth in the Indian market," adding, "We believe he will focus on supporting customers during challenging times and further develop aerospace business in the Asia-Pacific region."
