On the 7th, the Gwangju Police Station in Gyeonggi Province revealed that they are investigating Jang Mo (50, male) on suspicion of special injury.
Jang is accused of driving his passenger car into a playground within an apartment complex in Gonjiam-eup, Gwangju-si, multiple times at around 3:42 PM that day, injuring two children and one adult, totaling three people.
Additionally, some playground equipment and two bicycles parked nearby were damaged.
The injured were transported to a hospital for treatment and are reported to be in stable condition without life-threatening injuries.
Jang was arrested on the spot by police who responded to the report within the apartment complex.
