Thinkware Offers Pre-Orders for ‘iNavi FXD5000’ Until the 18th
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Thinkware announced on the 8th that it will conduct a pre-order sale for 11 days starting from the 8th for the 2-channel black box ‘iNavi FXD5000’, which is scheduled to be released on the 19th.
The pre-order sale is a promotional event held before the official product launch, limited to 1,000 units of the single 32GB model. It will be available through online channels such as the iNavi Online Premium Store, 11st, Gmarket, and Lotte iMall. Customers who pre-order will receive a total discount benefit of 140,000 KRW, including a 50,000 KRW product discount, free installation, and free GPS, and the products will be shipped sequentially after the official release.
The iNavi FXD5000 is equipped with front and rear 2-channel FHD video quality and incorporates image correction processes such as wide-area backlight compensation and automatic exposure adjustment, considering various situations that occur while driving. It also applies a continuous night vision solution that can provide clear images even in dark, low-light environments such as nighttime.
Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) functions that support accident prevention and driver safety during driving are standard. These include the Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) that alerts when the vehicle leaves the lane, the Front Vehicle Start Alert (FVSA) that notifies the driver when the vehicle ahead moves during a stop or signal wait, the Forward Collision Warning System (FCWS) that recognizes safe distance from the vehicle ahead and warns of collision risk, and the urban Forward Collision Warning System (uFCWS) that helps prevent accidents even at low speeds below 30 km/h.

The real-time communication function ‘iNavi Connected Service (Standard)’ is also supported. This service connects the black box and a dedicated smartphone app using the Internet of Things communication network, providing ▲ ‘Parking Impact Alert’ which sends real-time notifications via image or text when parking impact occurs ▲ ‘Vehicle Information Display’ which provides overall vehicle information such as battery level and fuel efficiency ▲ ‘Vehicle Location Confirmation’ which shows the parked vehicle’s location and time ▲ ‘Vehicle Location Sharing’ which allows registered guardians other than the driver to share the last parking location and impact alerts ▲ ‘Remote Power Control’ which can remotely turn off the black box if the battery voltage drops below a certain level. All vehicle-related information can be checked in real-time through the dedicated smartphone app. The iNavi Connected Service can be used through a separate dongle connection, and the communication fee for the first two years is provided free of charge.
