[Express Train - Episode 84] Amogreen Tech Independently Develops Flexible Battery
Amogreentech has developed the first high-efficiency magnetic material in Korea. High-efficiency magnetic materials are key components that minimize energy loss and enhance power efficiency in electric vehicles and renewable energy sectors. They are also used as core components for sensing electricity consumption in smart meters, which are essential to smart grids.
As a functional component, Flexible Printed Circuit Boards (FPCB) are circuit boards made by forming electrically conductive circuits on an insulating substrate. The market is expanding with the development of smartphone wireless charging antenna module boards and automotive wireless charging module boards.
Amogreentech independently developed flexible batteries that provide flexibility to secondary batteries and succeeded in mass production for the first time in the world. They have obtained domestic KC and international IEC certifications.
Patent attorney Eom Jeong-han from BLT Patent Law Firm reviewed Amogreentech’s patent and trademark application status.
Listed companies on the domestic stock market disclose patent acquisition information through the Financial Supervisory Service’s electronic disclosure system. However, many stock investors tend to overlook patent disclosures.
Not only patents but also trademark registrations indicate the future direction of listed companies, making them one of the important indicators for assessing future corporate value. Some patent disclosures even act as direct triggers for stock price increases.
It is not easy for general investors to understand the impact on companies through patent disclosures or to check trademark application statuses one by one. Asia Economy, together with patent attorney Eom Jeong-han from BLT Patent Law Firm, is reviewing the patent and trademark application status of listed companies through the 'Teukgeup Yeolcha' program.
‘Teukgeup Yeolcha’ is an abbreviation for a broadcast that diligently searches for stocks surging due to patents.
