Busan Office of Education Introduces 'Competency Assessment' for Educational Public Officials for the First Time

The educational public service workers to be hired this time include 71 school meal workers (cooks), 23 special education assistants, 18 care specialists, 4 dormitory supervisors, 2 facility operation assistants (swimming pool safety personnel), and 1 professional counselor.
The Office of Education is introducing a competency evaluation for the first time in this recruitment. The competency evaluation is a testing system that assesses the basic skills required for the job and objectively evaluates the fundamental character as an educational public service worker.
To prevent COVID-19, applications will not be accepted in person but can be submitted by registered mail or email from June 10 to 12. The exam will be held on July 4 with the competency evaluation, followed by interviews on the 18th, and the final successful candidates will be announced on the 24th.
