Military Mutual Aid Association Visits National Merit Recipients in Honor of Patriots and Veterans Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] The Military Mutual Aid Association announced on the 4th that, in celebration of the Month of Patriots and Veterans, it received recommendations from the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs for four living Korean War veterans residing in the region who are facing financial difficulties, and delivered consolation money and commemorative gifts to them.
The Military Mutual Aid Association's volunteer consolation activities for national veterans began in June 2013 and have continued for eight years this year. Although employees have visited the homes of national veterans in person every year to carry out volunteer consolation activities, this year, due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing measures, direct delivery was inevitably omitted.
