Eugene Corporation offers distribution channels to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that produce competitive products but have difficulty finding opportunities to supply construction companies. Among the 265 partner companies supplying building materials to Eugene Corporation, 225 companies, accounting for 85%, are SMEs.
Since last year, Eugene Corporation has been collaborating with small and medium manufacturers to develop building material products. They have launched jointly planned products such as wooden windows, steel flooring, and built-in furniture. They plan to steadily increase the number of co-developed items in the future.
Last year, Eugene Corporation's building materials distribution division recorded sales of 254 billion KRW, a 28.7% increase compared to the previous year. Sales in the first quarter of this year reached 55 billion KRW. Eugene Corporation's building materials distribution business, which started in 2013 with a single rebar product, now supplies over 2,800 types of materials centered on 31 items including insulation materials, shaped steel, and gypsum board to construction sites.
