Famous Opera Arias Heard in Jazz, Lotte Concert Hall El Toyo Concert
[Asia Economy Reporter Byunghee Park] Lotte Concert Hall will present the El Toyo Concert "Jazz Meets OPERA ARIA" with jazz pianist Song Youngju on the 20th at 11:30 AM.
A special stage will be prepared where famous arias such as Puccini's "E lucevan le stelle" from "Tosca," Puccini's "O mio babbino caro" from "Gianni Schicchi," Bizet's "Je dis que rien ne m'?pouvante" from "Les p?cheurs de perles," Bizet's "Habanera" from "Carmen," and Donizetti's "Una furtiva lagrima" from "L'elisir d'amore" can be heard in jazz style. Tenor Kim Hyunsu, a member of Forte di Quattro, will participate as a special guest and present arias with a new feeling based on jazz.
Jazz pianist Song Youngju was the first Korean to hold a solo performance at the New York Blue Note and is actively performing between Korea and the United States, including the Blue Note Jazz Festival, Washington Jazz Festival, and Seoul Jazz Festival.
