Suncheon-si Childcare Support Center Opens 'Moms Childcare Coordinator Parent Education' Course
Baby Product Crafting 'Geumsone' Class, Surge in Applications for Genetic Fingerprint Aptitude Tests
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City (Mayor Heo Seok) Childcare Comprehensive Support Center announced that the 'Talk Talk Talk with Moms Childcare Coordinators' parenting education program for guardians with infants and toddlers started on May 27th with great response.
The 'Moms Childcare Coordinator Parenting Education' is a home childcare support project conducted through the voluntary talent donation participation of daycare center directors in Suncheon City to provide various parenting education such as childcare information, childcare coaching, and parenting counseling to guardians of infants and toddlers, including first-time mothers.
The parenting education covers a total of 10 diverse topics including interaction methods, creative play guidance, and early childhood sex education. Since May, the 'Baby Product Making Gold Hand Class' and 'Genetic Fingerprint Aptitude Test' parenting education programs have received enthusiastic responses from parents with a flood of participation applications.
Any guardian raising infants and toddlers using the Suncheon City Childcare Comprehensive Support Center can apply for this education, which will be held a total of 10 times from May to July, targeting about 180 participants.

Heo Hee-soon, director of the Suncheon City Childcare Comprehensive Support Center, said, "This education is a customized childcare coaching program that comprehensively checks the child's temperament, developmental characteristics, parents' parenting attitudes, and parenting stress, and can be applied in real life." She added, "Since it is conducted through the voluntary participation of daycare center directors, it is expected to greatly contribute to fostering a community care culture and child-rearing."
