Statistics Korea Conducts the '2020 National Business Survey'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] The Statistics Korea announced that it will conduct the '2020 National Business Survey' from the 4th to the 29th of this month.
This survey is a complete census survey essential for understanding the structure of businesses in South Korea. It is organized by Statistics Korea and conducted by local governments. It has been conducted annually since 1994, and this is the 27th survey.
Originally scheduled for February, the survey was postponed twice after gathering opinions from local governments while actively responding to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), and it will now be conducted starting from today.
The survey targets all businesses with one or more employees engaged in industrial activities within the country (approximately 4.93 million businesses), and the main survey items include 14 categories such as type of business and number of employees.
