Gwangyang-si to Intensify Household Waste Disposal Crackdown Starting from the 8th
Enforcement Against Non-Use of Volume-Based Waste Bags and Failure to Attach Large Waste Stickers
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Gwangyang City announced that it will launch an intensive crackdown on household waste disposal starting from the 8th.
Over the past two weeks, the city investigated the disposal and collection status of household waste, focusing on single-family residential areas in Gwangyang-eup and Jungma-dong. The investigation confirmed issues such as not using designated waste bags, disposing of large waste items without stickers, mixing recyclables with household waste, and not adhering to designated waste disposal times, resulting in accumulated garbage.
