Korean Symphony's No-Audience Online Concert on the 3rd Featuring 'Saint-Sa?ns, Sibelius, Mozart'
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Byung-hee] The Korean Symphony Orchestra will live stream the stage of 'Concert in My Hand VII' on Naver TV at 7:30 PM on the 3rd.
The Korean Symphony originally planned to present the regular concert 'Interpretation of Romance I' at 7:30 PM on the 3rd at the Seoul Arts Center Concert Hall. However, due to growing concerns over cluster infections of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the metropolitan area, the 'Interpretation of Romance I' performance was canceled. Instead, it was replaced with a no-audience online performance, 'Concert in My Hand VII.'
Since March 20, the Korean Symphony has been presenting the small-scale chamber music-focused online concert series 'Concert in My Hand' for six weeks as part of the 'Social Distancing - Pause' campaign and a support project for Korea. This stage was prepared as a non-face-to-face performance in the same vein.
