Junggyeonryeon Hosts '2020 Core Talent Development Academy for Mid-sized Companies'
Mid-sized Companies Global Competitiveness and Sustainable Growth Capability Enhancement Program
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Federation of Medium-sized Enterprises announced on the 2nd that it will hold the '2020 Core Talent Development Academy for Medium-sized Enterprises (hereinafter referred to as the Academy).' Starting with the 'Overseas Resident Employee Dispatch Training' on the 11th, this Academy, which runs until December, aims to support strengthening global competitiveness and building a foundation for sustainable growth by offering a diverse curriculum covering everything from management strategy formulation to practical know-how in various departments.
The Academy, which began in 2016, is a program to enhance the capabilities of employees of medium-sized enterprises and prospective medium-sized enterprises, with 798 companies and 3,109 employees participating up to last year. This year's program consists of four sections: the newly established 'Overseas Market Development' section, 'Global Talent Capability Enhancement,' 'Intellectual Property Capability Enhancement,' and 'Compliance Management Practical Capability Enhancement.'

Park Jong-won, Head of Business at the Federation of Medium-sized Enterprises, emphasized, "Even in the midst of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, a feast of advanced technology, the core of competitiveness that determines a company's success or failure is ultimately the capability of its people," adding, "We will further strengthen the substance of the Academy so that medium-sized enterprises, which are facing many difficulties due to COVID-19, can establish a foothold for overcoming the crisis and making a leap forward."
