Gyeongsang National University Selected for 'University Support Project Contributing to High School Education' for 11 Consecutive Years

The Admissions Office of Gyeongsang National University has been selected for the '2020 High School Education Contribution University Support Project' for 11 consecutive years and will receive 1.398 billion KRW in support over two years.
It was also selected for the newly implemented 'College Entrance Examination Transparency Enhancement Support Project' this year, receiving 300 million KRW in support. In addition, it was selected for the 'Ministry of Education Career Exploration Camp Project,' receiving 162 million KRW in support.
The university will receive a total of 1.56 billion KRW from the Ministry of Education to simultaneously carry out these three projects.
Park Sang-sik, head of the Admissions Office at Gyeongsang National University, explained, "This recognition externally acknowledges our efforts to strengthen the fairness and transparency of college entrance examinations as a representative national university in Gyeongnam."

The 'High School Education Contribution University Support Project' aims to improve the reliability of college entrance examinations by enhancing fairness and transparency in the selection process, operating the entrance examination rationally, and creating conditions for high school education faithful to the curriculum. The project supports universities in solidifying high school education and alleviating the burden of college entrance exams on students and parents by improving the entrance examination system.
