Yangsan City Council Planning and Administration Committee Conducts Field Activities

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] The Planning and Administration Committee of Yangsan City Council announced on the 1st that on May 29th (Friday), they visited the Yangsan Business Center and the Advanced Hybrid Production Technology Center to conduct field-centered legislative activities.
The two buildings near the city hall were completed and have been in operation since May last year. The 'Yangsan Business Center' houses a convention hall and a permanent exhibition hall, and accommodates the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, financial institutions, and five divisions of the Yangsan City Economic and Industrial Bureau, providing comprehensive support to companies. The 'Advanced Hybrid Production Technology Center' supports the technological advancement of the materials and components industry by offering consulting related to SME R&D, equipment usage, and prototype production support.
This field activity was conducted to understand and inspect the functions and operational status of these two facilities, which are central to SME support, following the organizational restructuring in January this year that placed the entire Economic and Industrial Bureau under the jurisdiction of the Planning and Administration Committee. Any operational deficiencies will be corrected through administrative audits scheduled for June.

Jeong Seok-ja, Chairperson of the Planning and Administration Committee of Yangsan City Council, stated, "The excellent technology of Korean companies seen at the K-2019 International Plastics and Rubber Exhibition in Dusseldorf, Germany, the overseas business trip destination of last year's Planning and Administration Committee of Yangsan City Council, is the result of the unseen efforts of such research centers." He added, "In the future, the Advanced Hybrid Production Technology Center will play a pivotal role in the development of domestic industries."
