40s Female Real Estate Agent in Gyeyang-gu, Incheon Tests Positive for COVID-19 (Update)
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] A woman in her 40s working as a real estate agent in Gyeyang-gu, Incheon, has tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Incheon City announced on the 30th that a local resident A (49, female), who operates a real estate agency in Gyeyang-gu, tested positive for COVID-19.
The woman complained of a sore throat and cough on the 28th, visited the Gyeyang-gu Public Health Center screening clinic the next day for a specimen test, which came back positive, and was transferred to Incheon Medical Center around noon that day.
According to the movement path disclosed by Gyeyang-gu, since the 18th, she visited a certified real estate office, pharmacy, Korean medicine clinic, mart, restaurant, general store, gas station, and laundry convenience store within the district, and was wearing a mask at all times.
The quarantine authorities have placed three family members who had contact with A under self-quarantine and are conducting specimen tests. They are also conducting an epidemiological investigation to check for any connection with another real estate agency in Gyeyang-gu where three confirmed cases had previously occurred.
