Seoul National University of Science and Technology Opens Korea's First AI Public Policy Major
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Seoul National University of Science and Technology announced on the 28th that it will establish the 'AI Public Policy Major' in the Graduate School of IT Policy, the first of its kind in Korea, starting from the fall semester.
The major aims to cultivate suitable personnel by deeply understanding the characteristics of AI and data in the public sector.
The curriculum is broadly divided into the AI Policy and Governance track, Data-driven Policy track, and Public Service Innovation track. Key courses include foundational subjects such as Policy Theory and Policy Analysis, as well as AI National Strategy and Governance, AI Ecosystem Policy, E-Government, Cybersecurity Policy, Digital Government, and Smart City.
