Kumho Tire, Completion Ceremony of the 22nd 'Together Green Hope Study Room'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Kumho Tire announced on the 28th that it held a completion ceremony for the 22nd branch of the ‘Together Green Hope Study Room’ at the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation Seoul Regional Headquarters (Chairman Jehoon Lee, located at Baekbeom-ro, Mapo-gu) on the 27th.
The ‘Together Green Hope Study Room’ support activity is a social contribution initiative that Kumho Tire has been promoting since 2016 as part of its educational environment improvement project for low-income family youth. Through this activity, Kumho Tire creates a study environment by providing learning tools and improving living conditions for low-income families with middle and high school students in the metropolitan area.
The beneficiary of the 22nd branch (resident of Geumcheon-gu, Seoul) currently lives in a single-parent household with three siblings. Due to online school openings, they had not received a computer or other study environment support, making environmental improvement urgent. With Kumho Tire’s study room support, they are striving academically with the goal of contributing economically through university admission.
