Samsung Group Holds Preliminary Assembly Ahead of Online Samsung Examination
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Samsung Group held a preliminary gathering for test takers ahead of its first-ever online Samsung Examination.
According to industry sources on the 26th, Samsung Group called in test takers on this day to check connection systems and other preparations for the smooth operation of the Samsung Aptitude Test (GSAT), the written exam for new employee recruitment, scheduled for the 30th and 31st.
Previously, kits containing tools necessary for the online exam were sent to test takers by mail.
The kit consisted of a privacy ID cover, a smartphone stand, memo pads for each test section, and a guide with important instructions for test takers.
On the exam day, test takers must place their smartphones on the stand and connect to the monitoring system provided by Samsung via their computers to take the test. The smartphone on the stand is linked to the proctor’s monitoring system.
Samsung explained that thorough measures have been put in place before and after the exam to prevent cheating in this first-ever online test.
