Participated in Hip-Hop Club 'Preeseuteu'... Expressing Jangmiwon and Current Situation with Witty Beats
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Chosun University (President Min Youngdon) announced on the 25th that it has released the rose garden video "Always bloom," created to replace the canceled 2020 Rose Festival due to COVID-19, on its official website and SNS channels.
The production of the "Always bloom" video involved Chosun University's hip-hop club "Freest," which recently gained attention by participating in the Gwangju CBS broadcast special for the 40th anniversary of the May 18 Democratic Movement titled "Do You Know May 18? Singing the May 18 Democratic Movement through Rap."
"Always bloom" is a rap song by Freest that expresses Chosun University's rose garden and the current situation with witty beats and lyrics.
The song conveys the meaning that although our daily lives are temporarily paused, much like being unable to see the beautiful roses of Chosun University up close due to the COVID-19 pandemic, after this difficult time passes, the roses of Chosun University and our brilliant future will bloom even more beautifully.
A music video was produced featuring Freest performing "Always bloom" against the backdrop of the rose garden scenery.
