Jeonbuk Province Selected for Resident-Proposed Small-Scale Regeneration Project Competition

The resident proposal 'Small-scale Regeneration Project' is a project where more than 10 local residents directly propose and implement small-scale projects such as community hub spaces before the implementation of the Urban Regeneration New Deal Project, village festival planning for community formation, and publication of resident newsletters, enabling residents to become the main actors of urban regeneration projects.

Kim Hyung-woo, Director of the Construction and Transportation Bureau of Jeonbuk Province, stated, "Through the small-scale regeneration project, Jeonbuk's urban regeneration projects will develop into sustainable resident-led projects," and added, "We will actively support the expansion of these projects in connection with future Urban Regeneration New Deal Projects."
