The Criminal Division 4 of the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Choi Ji-seok) is carrying out a search and seizure at the comfort women grandmothers' shelter "Peaceful Our Home" in Yeonnam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, this afternoon. The prosecution previously obtained search warrants for three locations: the Jeonguiyeon office in Mapo-gu, Seoul, the War and Women's Human Rights Museum, and the shelter. From 5 p.m. the previous day until 5:30 a.m. the following day, they conducted a 12-hour search and seizure at the Jeonguiyeon office and the War and Women's Human Rights Museum. A prosecution official stated, "We plan to conduct searches at other related locations as well."
